For an actual power outage, this page won't help you faster than calling 1912 directly — please don't wait on a contact form for that.
Before you write to us
We cannot restore your power. This is an independent information site, not the electricity utility. To report an outage or a fault, call TNPDCL/TANGEDCO on 1912, or 94987 94987, or WhatsApp 94458 50811. We have no access to your connection, your bill or your complaint status.
What we can help with
- Corrections — a wrong shutdown listing, an outdated helpline number, a tariff figure that no longer matches the current order.
- Missing areas — your locality or district page is incomplete or names your area differently from the utility notice.
- Calculator issues — a result that does not match your actual bill; please include the units and the amounts so we can reproduce it.
- Content suggestions — a guide you wish existed.
- Privacy requests — access to, correction of or deletion of information you have sent us.
- Advertising and business enquiries.
