Power cuts in Dharmapuri: what to expect
Dharmapuri district's hilly, semi-arid terrain around Dharmapuri town means feeders often run longer distances between substations than in denser districts. That can mean slightly longer restoration times after a fault, simply because line crews have further to travel to find the break.
Before a scheduled shutdown in Dharmapuri
- Charge phones, inverter batteries and power banks the night before.
- Keep the 1912 helpline saved and your service connection number handy — it speeds up any fault report from Dharmapuri town or nearby.
